hence it is a equilateral triangle all sides are equal

If two angles form pair their sum should equal to 180°

The triangle whose 3 sides are equal is called equilateral triangle

Solution:-

Since C,D forms a linear pair their should be equal to 180°

C + D = 180°

C + 120 = 180°

C = 180°-120°

C = 60°

Hence all sides are equal

Therefore

A = B = C = 60°

A = x = 60°

B = y = 60°

Therefore value of x , y is 60°
