Given:in triangle abc

ab=ac

ba is produced to d

such that ad=ab

to prove=angle bcd=90°

proof:

in abc

ab=ac (given)

so.angle abc =angle bca

in tri. adc

ad=ac

so.angle acd=angle cda

in tri. bcd

angle abc+angle bcd +angle cda=180

so. angle acb +angle abc +angle acd+angleacd=180

2 (acb+acd)=180

acd+acb=90

so. angle bcd=90
