Given :

  • Triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle with AB = AC = 7.5m and BC = 9 cm.
  • The height from A to BC, is 6 cm.

To find :

  • What is the area of triangle ABC.
  • What will be the height from C to AB and AD.

Calculations :

→ Area of ∆ABC = 1/2 × B × H

→ Area = 1/2 × BC × AD

→ Area = 1/2 × 9 × 6

Area = 27 cm²

  • Length of CE .

→ Area of ∆ABC = 1/2 × B × H

→ Area = 1/2 × AB × CE

→ Area = (1/2) × 7.5 × CE

Area = 3.75
