In ΔABC, AD=6cm and BC=9cm

Area of triangle= 1/2×base×height

= 1/2×BC×AD

= 1/2×9×6=27 cm²

Again, Area of triangle= 1/2×base×height

⇒27 = 1/2 ×AB×CE

⇒ CE = 27×2/7.5

⇒ CE=7.2cm

Thus, height from C to AB i.e., CE is 7.2cm

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 9 \times 4.5

 =  \frac{40.5}{2}
