angle X= angle Y (opposite angles of equal sides are equal )
X+Y+30= 180° (angle sum property)
2X+30=180
2X= 150
X= 75°
and Y = 75°

Answer:

AB = AC

∴ ∠ABC =∠ACB ⇒ x = y

In ΔABC BY ANGLE SUM PROPERTY

∠A + ∠B + ∠C= 180°

38° + x + y = 180°

2x = 142°

x = 71° = y
