Triangle ABC is right angled at B and D is mid point of BC, prove that
AC2 + 3AB2 = 4AD2.​

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right triangle ABC,

By using pythagoras theorem,

AC2 = AB2+ BC2................ (1)

In triangle ABD,

By using pythagoras theorem

AD2 = AB2+ BD2

AD2=AB2 +( 1/2 BC) 2. ( BD=1/2 BC)

BC2=4AD2-4AB2............... (2)

Substitute equation 1 and 2

AC2=4AD2-3AB2

Hence proved.
