triangle ABC is right-angled at vertext A. caculate the length of BC,if AB=18cm and AC=24cm.

Using Pythagoras Theorem,

Base² + Perpendicular² = Hypotenuse²
AB² + AC² = BC²
24² + 18² = BC²
576 + 324 = BC²
900 = BC²
√900 = BC
30 = BC

Length of BC = 30 cm.
