Answer:

Area : 30cm^2 and the length of ab : 13cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a right angled triangle

where,BC is perpendicular and length is 5cm and CA which is the base is 12cm.

Area= 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 12cm × 5cm

= 30cm^2

By a Pythagoras theorem

BC is perpendicular = 5 cm

CA is the base = 12cm

BA is hypotenous = ?

Hypotenous = √ base^2 + perpendicular^2

? = √(12cm)^2 +( 5cm)^2

= √ 144cm^2 + 25cm^2

=√169cm^2

= 13cm
