• ∆ ABC ~ ∆PQR
• AD & PC are corresponding medians
• AB = 3 CM
• PQ = 7 cm
• AD = 5 cm

To find : PS = x

Solution :

As we all know if ∆ ABC ~ ∆ PQR

$\frac{AB}{PQ} = \frac{AD}{PS}$

$\frac{3}{7} = \frac{5}{x}$

$x = \frac{5 \times 7}{3} = 11.6 \: cm$

therefore , PS = 11.6cm
