Given :  ΔLMN ≈ Δ LQP    LM/LQ = 4/7

LM = 3.6 cm  , ∠L = 50°  and LN = 4.2 cm

 

To Find : construct triangle LQP​

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw  line segment LM = 3.6 cm

Step 2 : Draw angle L = 50° using protractor

Step 3 : Take a length of 4.2 cm from L and cut at angle drawn at N.

Step 4 : Join MN

Step 5 : Draw an acute angle at L.

Step 6 : Take 7 points one by one at equal distance

Step  7 : Join 4th point with M

Step 8 : Draw a parallel line to line drawn in previous step passing through 7th point and cut extended LM at Q.

Step 9 : Draw  a line parallel to MN  and meeting extended LN at P

ΔLQP is constructed
