Given :-

  • 6 - 4 - 3 = 42
  • 8 - 8 - 9 = 65
  • 7 - 9 - 6 = ?

Solution :-

Logic :- (Reverse of sum of digits) + Add odd numbers starting with 11 or, add prime numbers starting with 11 .

Explanation :-

6 - 4 - 3 = 42

→ 6 + 4 + 3 = 13

→ Reverse = 31

→ 31 + 11 = 42 .

8 - 8 - 9 = 42

→ 8 + 8 + 9 = 25

→ Reverse = 52

→ 52 + 13 = 65 .

then, applying same logic in next ,

7 - 9 - 6 = ?

→ 7 + 9 + 6 = 22

→ Reverse = 22

→ 22 + 15 = 37 (Ans.)

or,

→ 22 + 17(prime number) = 39 (Ans.)

Hence the missing number will be either 37 or 39 .
