Answer:

triangle PQR is right angle triangle

therefore angleQ= 90

PQ=15cm, PR=17 cm QR=?

PR is hypotenuse of right angle triangle

thus, by pythagoraous theorem

PR²=PQ²+QR²

17²=15²+QR²

289= 225+QR²

289-225=QR²

64=QR²

QR=8 cm
