Answer:

H^2 = B^2 + P^2

37^2 = B^2 + 35^2

1369 = B^2 + 1225

1369-1225 = B^2

144 = B^2

12 = B

QR = 12cm

Given :

PQR is a right-angled triangle

PQ = 35 cm

PR = 37 cm

To find:

The length of QR

Calculation:

By using Pythagoras theorem in a right-angled triangle,

 PR² = PQ² + QR²

By substituting values, we get

=> PR² = PQ² + QR²

=> 37² = 35² + QR²

=> 1369 = 1225 + QR²

=> QR² = 144

=> QR = 12 cm

The length of the side QR is 12 cm
