Given :-

  • In ∆PQR , ∠PQR = 90° .
  • Hypotenuse PR = 13 cm.

To Find :-

  • PQ² + QR² = ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • In a right angled ∆, pythagoras theorem says that, sum of square of base and perpendicular is equal to square of hypotenuse.
  • P² + B² = H² .

we have,

  • PQ = Perpendicular
  • QR = Base .
  • PR = Hypotenuse = 13 cm.

so,

→ PQ² + QR² = PR²

→ PQ² + QR² = (13)²

→ PQ² + QR² = 169 (Ans.)
