Given :-
- In ∆PQR , ∠PQR = 90° .
- Hypotenuse PR = 13 cm.
To Find :-
- PQ² + QR² = ?
Solution :-
we know that,
- In a right angled ∆, pythagoras theorem says that, sum of square of base and perpendicular is equal to square of hypotenuse.
- P² + B² = H² .
we have,
- PQ = Perpendicular
- QR = Base .
- PR = Hypotenuse = 13 cm.
so,
→ PQ² + QR² = PR²
→ PQ² + QR² = (13)²
→ PQ² + QR² = 169 (Ans.)
