Given : Triangle RPQ is right Angled at Q . PQ = 5 cm , RQ = 10 cm

To Find : Cos² R , Tan R , SinP.CosP

Solution:

Triangle RPQ is right Angled at Q

PQ = 5 cm

RQ = 10 cm

PR² = PQ² + RQ²

=> PR² = 5² + 10²

=> PR² = 125

=> PR = 5√5  cm

Cos R  = RQ/PR

=> CosR   = 10/5√5

=> Cos R  = 2/√5

=>Cos² R  = 4/5

Tan R  = PQ/QR

=> Tan R = 5/10

=> Tan R = 1/2

Sin P  = PQ / PR

Cos P = QR / PR

=> SinP.CosP = (PQ . QR ) / PR²

=> SinP.CosP = (5 . 10 ) / 125

=> SinP.CosP = 2/5
