Triangles ABC and DBC have side BC common,AB=BD and AC=CD. Are the two triangles congruent?State in symbolic form. Which congruence condition do you see? Does angle ABD equal to angle ACD? Why or why not?

we use SSS congruency
ab=bd given
ac=cd given
bc=cb common
thus ∆abd=~∆acd
also angle b is equal to angle c by cpct corresponding part of congruent ∆

On triangle whose
BC=BC (common )
AB=BD
AC=CD
Then these triangle are congruent with SSS Congruency.
No <ABD IS not similar to < ACD because ACD is 180° and ABD is not.
