Triangles ABC and DEF are similar. If DE = 4.5cm, EF = 9cm, what
is the value of AB: BC?​

AB/DE=BC/EF(CPST)

AB/BC=DE/EF

AB/BC=4.5/9

AB/BC=45/90

AB/BC=1/2

so,

DE=~ AB and EF=~BC

so AB:BC is similar to DE:EF  i.e. 4.5 : 9

DE:EF  ->  4.5 : 9

so it comes 1:2
