There are 14 main tributaries of Indus River.
Left bank tributaries of Indus are:
Jhelum,Chenab, Ravi, Beas, Satluj
Panjnad
Zanskar
Suru

Jhelum -> source is Verinag spring (in Anantnag district, J&K). Flows through Srinagar and Wular lake and then enters into Pakistan. Some of its course forms boundary between India and Pakistan. Tributaries of Jhelum are: Lidder, Neelum and Sind.
Chenab -> source is Bara-lacha la pass (in Lahaul & Spiti district, HP). It is also called as Chandrabhaga river in HP as it is formed by two rivers named as Chandra & Bhaga in HP. Flows through HP, J&K (UT) and then enters into Pakistan. Tributaries of Chenab are: Marusadar, Jhelum and Ravi.
Ravi -> source is in Kangra district of HP. Flows through HP, Punjab and then enters into Pakistan. Tributaries of Ravi are: Budhil, Nai/Dhona, Seul, Siawa, Tant Gari and Ujh.
Beas-> source is Beas Kund (in Manali, Kullu district, HP). Flows through HP and Punjab only. Meets Sutlej in Punjab and flows into Pakistan as Sutlej only. Tributaries of Beas are: Bain, Banganga, Luni and Uhal.
Satluj/Sutlej -> source is lake Rakshashtal in Tibet. It is also known as Langqen Zangbo (in Tibet). Flows through Tibet, HP, Punjab and then enters into Pakistan. Tributaries of Sutlej are: Bapsa, Spiti and Beas.
Panjnad -> formed in Pakistan by merger of all 5 above tributaries of Indus. It is formed ultimately by merger of Chenab and Sutlej. It is a very short stream and joins Indus shortly after.
Zanskar -> flows in Ladakh UT.
Suru -> flows in Ladakh UT.
Soan -> flows in Pakistan.
Right bank tributaries of Indus:
Shyok -> flows in Ladakh & Gilgit-Baltistan.
Gilgit -> flows in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Kabul, Kurram, Gomal -> All 3 tributaries flow in Afghanistan & Pakistan.
Indus river is also called as Sindhu river (India & Pakistan) and Sengge Zangbo (Tibet). It flows through 3 countries- China, India & Pakistan. In India, Indus flows only through Ladakh UT. Indus originates near Mansarovar lake in Tibetan plateau. Leh is situated near Indus river. Indus flows into Arabian sea near port town of Karachi and into Rann of Kutch (secondary mouth). It is the longest river and national river of Pakistan.
