From 22/3 cups of sugar, Tricia can make 3 cakes.

Given that,

5/2 cups of sugar is required to make 1 cake.

So, from unitary method, 1 cup of sugar can make (1 ÷ 5/2)  = 2/5 cakes.

Similarly, 22/3 cups of sugar can make (2/5) × (22/3) = 44/15 cakes = 2.93 ≈ 3 cakes.
