Mrs. Pumphrey is a very rich and prosperous lady who caresses her dog and fulfills each and every need of her dog.
She pampered Triki as he was very dear to her and it was this love of hers that spoilt Tricki.
He became very lazy and fat as he did not go on walks and also did not exercise which made it unfit.
Truly, Tricki was a very spoilt and pampered dog.
