There is a best way.. That marking the options in the book with their respective colors... Whenever we watch them we can get the idea of colour.

i think you should make a code word for all these by youe own so that u will remember it for long
I personally believe that (as I did it) is I marked the respected colours on the terms of the metal... thus whenever I see them (read them) actually i did it only thrice.. i got the image of the colour in my mind
and believe me.. i got 29 out of 30 in practicals
