Here, tan=a/b

Also, tan=sin/cos

Thus, we can resemble sin=a & cos=b

Now, a sin=a*a=a^2 [Since sin=a]

Also, b cos=b*b=b^2 [Since cos=b]

Therefore,

a sin - bcos/a sin + b cos

=a^2 - b^2 / a^2 + b^2
