In trigonometry how do you find the value of x in a degree with two other sides?

You divide the two side and depending on which two sides of the right triangle you are using. Bu looking it up in a book of mathematical tables and formulas or using the calculator arc angle function

You get your angle

The most commonly used trigonometry functions are

Sine

Cosine

And Tangent

The Ratio for them are

Sin(x)= O/H

Cos(x)= A/H

Tan(x) = O/A

O means opposite side

A means Adjacent side

H means Hypotenuse

I will give a example

A right triangle has a Adjacent side of 2 unit and Opposite side of 1 unit

Now we need to know what trigonometry function uses those two sides we find the Tangent function uses those two sides. So:

Tan(x)= O/A

Tan(x) = 1/2

Look it up in a book of mathematical tables. You get

Tan(x)= 26.5651 degrees ( rounded to four decimal places.

Step-by-step explanation:

computer is a machine that can store and process information. Most computers rely on a binary system, which uses two variables, 0 and 1, to complete tasks such as storing data, calculating algorithms, and displaying information.
