Answer:

cp =Rs600

sp=Rs576

loss=cp-sp

=600-576

=24

loss%=loss/cp*100

=24/600*100

600 and 100 is cutted by each other and left 24/6

after that 6 cuts 24 by 4 and it remain left 4/1

so loss % is 4%

Given,

Trisha bought a wrist watch = 600 rupees

Selling the watch to her friend Tulika = 576 rupees

Here, we have to find the loss percent

Formula,

Loss % = \frac{cost price - selling price}{cost price}\times100

Here,

Cost price = 600, selling price = 576

Now substitute the values in the above formula,

Loss% = \frac{600-576}{600}\times100

= \frac{24}{6}

=4%

Therefore, the loss percent is 4%.
