The high temperature and moisture of tropical rainforests cause dead organic matter in the soil to decompose more quickly than in other climates, thus releasing and losing its nutrients rapidly. The high volume of rain in tropical rainforests washes nutrients out of the soil more quickly than in other climates.

hope it helps!!plz mark me as brainly if you are comfortable with my answer...:):):)all the best....

The reasons for why the tropical forests are very dense:

Explanation:

  • Tropical forests are the forest where closed canopies of trees are growing and they are covering almost 13 percent of total Earth’s land area.
  • In this region, temperature ranges between 20-35 degree Celsius and the rainfall of more than 200 cm in a year.
  • Such type of forests are more denser because it consists of different layers like scattered tall trees, fruits and flowering trees, small trees with woody and herbaceous shrubs, etc.
  • Trees covering the top layers of this forest are gigantic in size.
