The tropical rain forest is a forest of tall trees in a region of year-round warmth.

Tropical rain forests are near the equator because the climate there is warm, very wet and constant due to the position of the sun over the equator. These region experiences only two seasons : wet season and dry season. Rainfall is  more at the equator because of evaporation which is due to excessive heat.

Whenever it rains, the water collects on the  leaves of the trees and evaporates fast which in turn  forms into clouds and brings rainfall  again.
