Answer:

Tropical evergreen forests are difficult to exploit for commercial purposes because these forests are dense and many plants and climbers are tangled with each other. Secondly, the lack of means of transport deep into the forests has made these trees difficult to be used commercially.

Tidal forests can survive both in fresh and in salty water. The trunks of the trees are supported by  number of stilted roots which remain under water during a high tide.

Forests must be conserved due to the following reasons:

Forests help in the prevention of soil erosion and floods.

They largely affect the climate of a place by influencing rainfall, temperature and humidity.

Forests provide habitation and shelter to animals, birds and many tribal races.

Three trees found in the Monsoon deciduous forests are teak, sal and sandalwood. Their uses are:

The wood of Sal is used for making doors, windows, railway sleepers etc.

Teak is used for construction purposes, making furniture, ship building and bridges.

Sandalwood is used in manufacturing incensed soap and oil.
