Yes ,it is true that tropical regions exhibit species richness as compared to polar regions because in the tropical regions ,all the criteria for living is present for example sunlight ,rain ,land , trees,water,etc but in the polar region the condition for living is not present ,there were on ice present over there,so we can say that tropical regions exhibit species richness as compared to polar regions
