The amphibians and reptiles have an intermediate three-chambered heart. This leads to the incomplete double circulation in them.In them, oxygenated blood is received the left atrium of the heart and deoxygenated blood is received by the right atrium of the heart. But, both the blood gets mixed up due to the presence of single ventricle. This pumps out the mixed blood. Thus, blood comes through the heart by two different routes and leave the heart by a single route.
