                                     True Friends are a Blessing

It is absolutely true that True Friends are a Blessing. Antony was Caesar’s true friend. He proved it by taking revenge from the conspirators. He put his own life in danger when he decided to take the revenge by offering to take Caesar’s body for funeral; he also faced the danger of being caught by the conspirators while giving speech at the market place.

He had many qualities in him. He had the art of oratory. His speech had deeper effect on Roman crowd than that of Brutus. Antony used many techniques to make his speech more convincing and effective. First of all he handled the public sentiments against Caesar very carefully. He started his speech by praising Brutus and the other conspirators. Then he put forth the proofs, incidents with examples to prove that Caesar was not ambitious at all. Secondly he reminded them how they used to love Caesar once; he evoked their sympathy and love for Caesar. Thirdly, he showed them the Caesar’s stabbed corpse and used inflammatory words to make them angry against the conspirators. Lastly he read Caesar’s will in such a manner that really made the Roman crowd rise in mutiny.

In conclusion we can say that Antony was really a great friend of great Caesar.

Speech:

There is no ounce of doubt that if the friendship is true then it is nothing less than a blessing.

This is proved by history again and again.

One of the events happened in history was of Antony who took revenge for the death of his dear friend Caesar.

He out the truth in front of everyone and had shown them the greatest loss.
