This line is a part of the sonnet Number 116 written by William Shakespeare.

He he had provided the people with the true definition and description of love.

Here he talked about the marriage of two minds which is greater than anything else.

True love is unmoved by any circumstances or time and it is fixed like a lighthouse or a northern star (or the Pole Star).

One can never let go that feeling ever.

It is just like a shining star fixed forever to the bark of the tree of love and it can not ever be shaken by anybody or anything.

In this sonnet, the poet used a number of references to speak about true love. ultimately love stays till the last day of a person's life.
