Its absolutely true because :
25+25 = 25*2
50 = 50
L.H.S = R.H.S.
25+25 = 25*2
50 = 50
L.H.S = R.H.S.

let's take RHS first
25×2
= 50
now LHS
25+25 = 50
hence they are same so it's true
basically multiplication is a combination of additions.to make it short and easy
like if I say 3*3 it's means 3+3+3
it's the same thing another example 5*7 = 5+5+5+5+5+5+5 ( 5 added to itself 5 times )
or 7+7+7+7+7 ( 7 added to itself 5 times )
as u can see 3*3 / 5*7 looks quite simple than addding these...right ....
