this sentence is false because leguminous plants belong to pea plants which have nitrogen deficiency so i think this sentence is wrong and also they mostly require nitrogen fertilizers if fertilizers are not added we can observe some of the nodules in the roots that nodules are nothing but bacteria plant gives shelter to it instead of that they convert nitrogen into nitrates and provide it to plant

Leguminous crops do not require nitrogenous fertilizers..

The above statement is true..
They do not need nitrogenous fertilizers because they can fix the nitrogen of the atmosphere themselves...
