Given :   the graph of 5 Y + 7 is equals to zero is a line parallel to the y-axis

To Find :  True or False

Solution:

a line is parallel to x axis if slope is  zero and  is of form

y = k  where k ∈ R

a line is parallel to y axis if slope is 1/0 and  is of form

x = k  where k ∈ R

5y + 7 = 0

=> y  = - 7/5

This is of the form y = k

Hence given line is parallel to x axis

Hence given line is not parallel to y axis.

the graph of 5 Y + 7 is equals to zero is a line parallel to the y-axis is  FALSE
