The value of x in each figure

Calculation:

i) The angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal

     ∠x = 40°

ii) The angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal. Also the sum of angles in a triangle is 180°

     ∠x+45°+45° = 180°

     ∠x+90° = 180°

     ∠x=90°

iii) The angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal

     ∠x = 50°

iv) The angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal. Also the sum of angles in a triangle is 180°

     ∠x+∠x+100° = 180°

      2∠x = 180°- 100°

      2∠x = 80°
