Hi there!
Here's the answer:

This problem can be solved by considering it as an Infinite series
√(4+(√4-(√4+(√4………)))) = x
=> √(4+(√4-x)) = x
Squaring on Both sides
4 + √(4-x) = x²
=> √(4-x) = x² - 4
=> (4-x) = (x² - 4)²
=> x⁴ - 8x² + 16 = 4 - x
=> x⁴ - 7x² + 12 = 0
=> (x² - 4)(x² - 3) = 0
=> (x+2)(x - 3)(x+√3)(x -√3) = 0
=> x = 2, -2, √3, -√3
