lateral surface area means the area of a solid without it's top and bottom areas. ... CSA is the area of the curved sides of the geometry. for ex: CSA of cylinder is 2*pi*r*h.(r is radius and h is height) LSA is the area of lateral surfaces (sides excluding top and bottom) of the geometry.
