Given:

radius of the circle, R= 7cm

TSA = 836 cm²

=> 2πR(R + h) = 836

=> 2× 22/7 × 7(7 + h) = 836

=> 44(7 + h) = 836

=> 308 + 44h = 836

=> 44h = 528

=> h = 528/44 = 12cm

Lateral Surface Area => 2πRh

2 × 22/7 × 7 × 12 = 2 × 22 × 12

= 528 cm²

Answer:

radius = 7 cm

TSA = 836 cm sq.

tota l \: surface \: area \:  = 2\pi \: r \: (r + h)

836 = 2 \frac{22}{7} 7(7 + h)

 \frac{836 \times 7}{2 \times 22 \times 7}  = 7 + h

19 = 7 + h

h = 12cm

lateral surface area = 2 π r h

2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 12

528 {cm}^{2}
