TSA of sphere is 4 pi Square .But TSA of hemisphere is 3 pi Square. Instead of 2 Pi R Square .how do you justify ​

The the sphere is cut into two hemispheres are formed and each sphere has an extra surface ( circular base) with them.

So, TSA of A hemisphere= half of TSA of sphere + area of extra surface ( circular base) as well

therefore, TSA of Hemisphere= 4\pi r^2/2+\pi r^2= 3pi r^2
