total cost of buying is.. 125×4=500

now loss of 100 in selling.. so selling price is 500-100=400

cost \: of \: one \: mango = \frac{400}{400} = 1

so cost of a dozen of mangoes is 1×12= 12 rs

Answer:

12 Rs will be S.P. for 1 dozen mangoes

Step-by-step explanation:

As we have given in the question that 400 mangoes were purchased at a price of 125 mangoes per 100

Therefore the cost of 400 mangoes were=125\times4=500

And they were sold at a loss of 100 Rs, i.e. for 400 Rs, 400 mangoes were sold

Therefore the price of 1 mango=\dfrac{400}{400}=1

Now the price of 12 mangoes i.e. 1 dozen mangoes=1\times12=12

Therefore our final answer would be 12 Rs
