Explanation:

In this competitive world, students join coaching institutes to score well in exams and be ahead with others. Let’s see on the advantages and disadvantages of taking tuitions on below:

Advantages:  Coaching centres provide right guidance not only in student’s area of study but also in their careers ahead. These institutes could guide as per students interest and their academic records. Student’s gets individual attention at coaching centres, which is not the case in schools where each class has 30-40 students and teachers have limited time in class. This makes it difficult for teachers to guide students as they concentrate on completing the syllabus in time.

Whereas coaching centres focus is on overall development of each student. Coaching centres develop innovation learning techniques for different types of students. Whereas in school, students of the same class get to learn concepts in the same patterns. When a student misses a day in school, due to any reason, they move out of track in studies. They could not concentrate on the on-going topics. Coaching centres come handy in these cases, where they can cover the missed out classes without losing the on-going classes.

Disadvantages: Coaching centres are becoming an additional expenditure on parents. Not all parents can send their kids to institutes. There are quite a few teachers who take tuitions after their regular school, which is an extra income from them and they won’t teach properly in school with an intention of earning that extra bucks. Coaching centres are also becoming an extra burden on students, as they give homework for extra practice apart from what students get from school.

Due to personalized studying patterns in coaching centres, sometimes students gets confused with school studying patterns. They could not concentrate on any of them, which could create worst cases in examinations. With immense pressure due to competition, students could develop stress due to competition, and can lead to anxiety disorders.

Conclusion: Students, who are good at academics, can take care of their studies without any sort of help from coaching centres. Students who are not comfortable can join coaching centres, but they should take in considerations the factors like extra time to be spent, additional homework, different study patterns, etc... In fact, parents should help their kids to cover the topics taught in schools on a daily basis, so that students will not feel the burden at final examination time.
