Tungusten has (i) high melting point

(ii) it does not undergo oxidation or become red easily

arpitasahani: What abt Cu and Al
VarshithVK: it has low melting point
arpitasahani: Ook
arpitasahani: Tq dear

Tungsten is used almost exclusively for filament of bulbs because at high heat it has to glow that means it has a high melting point whereas Copper and Aluminium for electrical transmission wire both Cu ans Al are good conductor of electricity. That is they don't offer much resistance to the flow of electricity. Second reason is that both metal are very ductile rendering then to be drawn into thin wire
