Lemon juice, lime juice, tomato juice, apple juice, baking soda, cold beverages, curd, and vinegar are acidic substances that will cause the indicator paper to become red.

The rest of the substances will turn blue as they are basic in nature.

What is a indicator paper?

- The purpose of a universal indicator paper is to measure the alkalinity or acidity of various solutions using a compound solution or mixture that has been transfused with a variety of pH indicators. When indicator paper reacts with a substance operating with a pH value range of 1 to 14, the detection is done through straightforward, smooth colour changes.
