The answer is (D) rotate.

BigCrippin: You are incorrect.
snigdha74: you said that the definition of turn is to move in a CIRCULAR direction wholly or partly around an axis or point. rotating is also some sort of motion. at least try to comprehend the definition correctly.
snigdha74: turn and rotate are synonyms, meaning that they can be used interchangeably. move, movement and motion are just used to refer to the change in position. doesn’t necessarily have to be in a certain direction.
BigCrippin: My definition is also correct though. I have looked at multiple definitions and rotate is a synonym of TURN. So yes I said move in a CIRCULAR direction!
BigCrippin: Okay you aren't incorrect my bad. I have looked at multiple definitions and other things regarding this question.
snigdha74: Of course, ‘move’ is related to ‘turn’, but ‘rotate’ would be much more similar-sounding, and that’s what this question wants; the synonym of ‘turn’, so yeah. It’s fine, though!
BigCrippin: But we are both correct in a way so yeah. Its all good neither is wrong!
snigdha74: yup.
