Turn some of your clothes inside out. Check the tags inside them to see which ones have been made using polyester. rouse

Answer:

I have never heard of washing inside out to preserve colors. When I buy dark clothes especially black jeans or red anything I soak them in cold saltwater usually overnight but I'm sure a few hours would work. The saltwater seals the color. I have bad bad OCD so when I do laundry I make sure everything is hanger/folding ready and I use a homemade stain remover that I spray directly on the stain. I also make my own detergent which works so much better than any of the brand name.
