Turner's syndrome is a chromosomal disorder or defect in human females, where a female is born only with a single X chromosome.

This disorder has no cure but the patient can undergo medical treatment and keep a check on the various other health diseases which occur due to this disease.

The disorder may result in delayed puberty, short height, heart defects, infertility, etc.

Turners syndrome is the name of the disease where the X chromosome is partially or wholly missing from the XX chromosomes.

Explanation:

  • This is a disease that impacts only women and this is caused by the whole or partial missing of one of the X chromosomes.
  • The impact of this disease is having late puberty, short stature, learning disabilities, heart defects, and other issues.
  • This requires a medical diagnosis and though treatment can help but since it is a genetic condition, it cannot be completely cured. This syndrome can last for an entire lifetime.
