Each men took apple from the men who WENT BEFORE THEM.

◆As ,Twelve apples hanging high, and twelve men passing by, only the FIRST ONE took apple from the tree, all other eleven , took an apple from the ones who went before them.

◆That is, second men took apple form the first , third men took from the second and so on . Thus leaving eleven apples hanging from the tree. This is a possibility.

◆There is also a possibility of leaving someone named eleven in the tree by the 12th man.
