Here is your answer.
Let the age of a man is x years

Twelve years hence his age is x + 12 years

12 years ago his age is x - 12 years

ATQ
x + 12 = 4(x - 12) \\ x + 12 = 4x - 48 \\ 4x - x = 12 + 48 \\ 3x = 60 \\ x = \frac{60}{3} \\ x = 20 \: years
So The present age of a man is 20 years

Option (B) 20 years is your answer
