So here 19 cells are connected in same side while one cell is reversed

so we have net EMF of all cells

E_{net} = 19E - E

E_{net} = 18 E

total resistance of complete circuit

R = 20 r

so current in the loop is given as

i = \frac{18E}{20r}

i = 0.9\frac{E}{r}

now terminal voltage of the reverse connected cell is given as

V = E + ir

V = E + 0.9 E

V = 1.9 E
