We have to find , common people of swimming and fishing.

Now n(s) = 15

n(f) = 12

n(s∪f) = 18

n(s∪f) = n(s) +n(f) - n(s∩f)

18 = 15 + 12 - n(s∩f)

n(s∩f) = 27 - 18 = 9.

Therefore, 9 people go swimming and fishing
